Bounheng Southichak, Ph.D.

Dr. Bounheng is an Engineer, a regular Lecturer at the National
University of Laos, Department of Environmental Engineering. He holds
a Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, graduated in
2008, from the Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. After earning a Ph.D.,
Bounheng took on a Postdoctoral study in Ecological Service
Engineering at the Tohoku University. His consultancy experience goes
back to 2001 as a junior environmental scientist and, since earning his
Ph.D. degree, Bounheng has led numerous study projects involving
water resources and environment. His specialties include Ecology,
Environmental Engineering and Management, Water Quality, Water and
Waste Water Treatment, Hydrology, Renewable Energy, Climate
Change, Wetland Management, Watershed Management, and
Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA).
